Crystal Palace send loan flop Doyle back to Wolves
Crystal Palace have sent loan striker Kevin Doyle back to Wolves due to injury.
Palace landed the 31-year-old on transfer deadline day in a loan deal that was due to run until January.
But the south London club have had to send him back early and Doyle, who has made four appearances this season, could face surgery on what is thought to be a groin injury.
Manager Neil Warnock said: "He has got a problem at the moment that does not look like clearing up.
"He is back at Wolves and they are deciding whether they are going to operate on him."
