Shaun Wright-Phillips could join brother Bradley in America after QPR contract ends
QPR midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips will be a target for a number of MLS clubs when his contract at Rangers ends in the summer.
The former Chelsea and Manchester City winger is struggling to get in the squad at Loftus Road – let alone the starting XI – under manager Harry Redknapp and his high wages have been a stumbling block in him moving on.
Charlton and Millwall have both been interested in taking the 32-year-old on loan recently but neither can match his £60,000 a-week wages.
In America, however, there are funds available and Wright-Phillips could be the next Premier league star to cross the Atlantic.
His brother Bradley has been in sensational form for New York Red Bulls this season and the siblings could even be reunited there in a dream coup for the US side.
