Chelsea agree second Brazilian wonderkid’s transfer ahead of Man United

Chelsea have agreed to sign Kenedy from Fluminense this summer, the Express reports.
The 19 year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Europe this season, with Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea all linked.

His club have now confirmed that he has been sold to an unnamed club, with Brazilian reports naming the Blues as his destination.

Nathan recently agreed a switch from Brazilian side Atletico Paranaense, and he tweeted ‘Welcome to Chelsea’, further bolstering reports the West London club are the team being mentioned.
Kenedy has scored three goals in his last seven Carioca 1 appearances, and has been likened to Neymar in previous reports.

The young forward will be Chelsea’s eighth Brazilian in their squad, with Ramires, Oscar, Willian, Diego Costa, Filipe Luis, Wallace and Lucas Piazon all in the first-team or out on-loan at present.

Official confirmation is still being awaited however, but should reports prove to be true, it will be interesting to see if he remains with the senior squad, or goes out on loan to gain first-team experience.
