Real Madrid understand they’ve lost World Class defender to Manchester United

According to the Independent, Real Madrid are starting to accept that they may have lost Sergio Ramos to Manchester United, who are pressing hard to sign the Spaniard. United’s determination to sign the player are showing no signs of weakening.

Florentino Perez has reportedly made a plea to Ramos so that the tension is lowered and to tell the RM boss of his intentions. Ramos reiterated that he wants the club to listen to any concrete offers that they receive.
United have tried to take advantage of the fault in the relationship by making a £32m bid for Ramos, which was rejected by Madrid earlier in the week. United are playing hardball in Madrid’s pursuit for David de Gea, who will most likely play a large role in negotiations for Ramos at a later date.
United have been quoted £71m for Sergio Ramos, which United will obviously not pay. It is thought that the quoted price is just a normal step in negotiations.
